The non-golfers and visiting guests Dick and Fran, Nancy's cousin - took the water taxi
downtown.  We visited Gerome's Art Gallery.  He has some great paintings and unique    T-shirts.  Taphouse on Queens Way has 37 taps.   We only stopped in 2 shops as the downtown doesn't have much shopping. The last stop was the Oyster Bar for raspberry tea.  In all the tour was short but quaint.  The Karma stayed in port and did laundry with Annmarie supervising the repair of the marina's dryer.

Report by
Ann

As we all departed Tidewater in Portsmouth, most of the fleet executed their plan “B” to Hampton Rhodes, while MARLYN and ANNIE GIRL fulfilled their reservation at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club just five miles away on the Lafayette River. FHYC is a member of the Yachting Club of America with reciprocal privileges at member clubs. NYCC is a beautiful facility sporting a 50,000sq ft building with three levels of dining and swimming inside and out.

We joined FHYC members Fred and Denise Schubert for a Cornbeef and Cabbage dinner in the DECK dining room.  There was an abundance of food, enough for more of the same the next night.

GEORGE is no where to be seen.
Probably up to no good!
