Colonial Beach Yacht Center

Fun Facts about George Washington

Washington used to snore loudly. He frequently got confused in spellings having letters ‘i’ and ‘e’. He is reported to have had an IQ of 125. Records show that he did his own bookkeeping.

Bernan and Just B'Cause leave very early (6am) for Colonial Beach.
Due to our White House tour scheduling change,
Nancy, Bernie, Judy and Joe had to miss the tour.

Glenn, Ruth, Bill, Donna, Janet, Ken and the Plantin's friends Alice and Lou
tour the White House.

Red Room

State Dining Room

Cross Hall

During the tour, you visit the Vermeil Room, East Room, Library,
Green Room, Blue Room, Red Room, State Dining Room and entrance & cross halls.
No cameras are allowed so these pictures were obtained from the Internet.

We understand that George commandeered the Oval Office this morning
and that Barack had to call in the Secret Service to remove him.
As he was being escorted out of the Oval Office, George said,
"Things were a lot less complicated back in my day.
our budget proposal was only two pages and
I had no need for all these Secret Service people...
and what is Air Force One?"

Maturity Rules and Up Tha Crick leave for Colonial Beach
after the White House tour.
Only Snowdrift is left as they will make the run to St. Mary's in one day.

Janet & Ken and Alice and Lou were fortunate to be able to attend the
TWILIGHT TATTOO, a colorful military pageant at Fort McNair.

This was an absolute awesome way to finish our Washington DC trip.
This was a FABULOUS show!
